What is your cancellation policy?You can cancel or reschedule your appointment online up to 48 hours in advance, no sweat. If you need to cancel or reschedule last-minute (within 48 hours of the appointment), you'll need to reach out to me via email at rose.the.silver.stylist@gmail.com or DM on Instagram, @rose.the.silver.stylist. Here's how it works. First last-minute cancellation: you're off the hook. Second one: you'll be asked to provide a credit card number, but won't be charged. Third one: the credit card on file will be charged a 50% cancellation fee for this and future last-minute cancellations. That said, I totally understand that sometimes it's outside of your control, and exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances.

What if I'm not sure what service(s) to book?Head to the services page and see what I offer. If you still aren't sure, take 10 minutes or less to fill out the online consultation below, and I'll reach out within a day or two to get you booked.

Can I book over the phone instead of online?Of course! Just call the salon at (206) 441-3000. You'll either get me, someone else who can help you get scheduled, or it will prompt you to leave me a private voicemail. I'll call you back during my working hours on Wednesday - Saturday. What if the date/time I want is unavailable?You can add yourself to the waitlist if there are any cancellations. It's easy. Just head to online booking, click the service you're looking to book, and at the bottom of the page, there is a link to add yourself to the waitlist. Where is the salon located?You can find me at Shine in the Market, inside the courtyard of the Inn at the Market. 86 Pine St, Seattle, 98101 Come get your hair done and spend an afternoon at the historic Pike Place (Important note, it's not Pike's Place) Market!

Why isn't balayage on your service menu?Balayage is often confused for a "look," when it's really a technique. I can achieve the same look as balayage using a combination of foiling techniques known as foilyage, and it will produce a similar result to the look of balayage. If this is what you're after, my "Lightening/Foiling" services are for you. I'll customize the service after your consultation so it's unique to your hair and goals, you just choose how much of your hair you want lightened. All stylists have strengths and preferences that we lean into. The process may vary from stylist to stylist, but I will always do everything in my power to give my clients their desired outcome (and be honest when I can't) using techniques that I am most comfortable with.

What if I don't see the service I'm looking for?Chances are, I don't offer that service for online booking. That's not to say it can't be done, though (unless it's a perm or a relaxer) so let's chat about it and see what we can do. What if I'm not happy with my hair after a service?My goal is always for you to be 100% happy with every service and make sure we take care of any necessary adjustments before you leave, but sometimes after getting home and living with your hair, you might notice something that needs to be adjusted — and that's okay!
